With its microcracked gold film plated sMEA, the MEASSuRE system allows electrophysiological recordings before, during and after stretching.
Stretching MEA in the MEASSuRE system ranges from physiological stretching (5-10% strain) used in e.g. mechanobiology to pathological stretching (>20%) used in neurotrauma research.
