Single Cell Manipulation – New and classical approaches
Perfusion and electroporation brought to the next level. The use of microfluidics allows pushing the limits of perfusion as we know it. The featured product BioPen allows single cell substance application inside a standard culture dish – without affecting neighboring cells. Our second focus is on deciphering networks. We show you how single cell electroporation is a powerful tool for multicolor optogenetics.
Talks:
Jens Looser & Bernd Polder (npi electronic GmbH): Introduction
Matija Rojnik (FluiCell AB): The BioPen: single cell perfusion made easy
Carsten Hoffmann (University Hospital Jena – CMB): Probing receptor function with intramolecular FRET-sensors
Christine Gee (University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf – ZMNH): Multicolour optogenetics to investigate synaptic plasticity
