Cell signaling is a ubiquitous process that involves a wide range of highly diverse biological systems, such as ion channels and G protein-coupled receptors. Signaling pathways are also important pharmacological targets due to their involvement in a large number of disease-related processes and symptoms. In this mini-symposium, we will explore cell signaling from a single-cell perspective and the new insights that such a perspective provides. We will investigate the importance of having precision and control on the level of individual cells in areas such as electrophysiology and pharmacology and present new methods and technologies for single-cell compound delivery. The symposium will feature talks by scientists who are all prominent researchers within their field and who will all provide new valuable insights in the area of single-cell signaling. Symposium schedule (times in CET) 16:00-16:30 - Carsten Hoffmann, Jena University Hospital 16:30-17:00 - Jérôme Clatot, Children's
